I have spent about 5 years cycling in about 70 countries. Why? Here’s 14 reasons why I love travelling by bike.

1. It’s cheap
2. The freedom
3. Does not damage the environment
4. It’s hard work!
5. It’s slow but not too slow, fast but not too fast
6. It opens you up to adventure
7. It’s challenging, physically and mentally
8. You can get to the world’s wildest places
9. I love wild camping, and camp fires
10. You meet great people
11. It opens doors and shows you people’s best sides
12. You are always learning
13. Lots of thinking time
14. There’s an interesting community of people who do it
