Audio interview about cycling round the world

I am delighted to have been interviewed by Darren at BicycleTouringPro.com about cycling round the world.
We chatted for about 30 minutes on motivation, wanderlust, blogging, and how we are perceived by society!
You can listen to the interview here and learn more about my 4 year circumnavigation here.

If you are looking to do some bike touring you should definitely check out BicycleTouringPro.com. It’s far more useful than my own Expedition Planning Advice or FAQ’s!

One post I found very helpful on Darren’s site was his list of the Top 10 most important bits of kit for a bicycle journey. The post discussed:

1. Bicycle
2. Camera
3. Shoes
4. Cell Phone
5. Riding Shorts
6. Panniers/Trailer
7. Mirror
8. Journal
9. Sleeping Mat
10. Pump

Anyway, I digress. Listen to our audio interview here.

Just listened… Really looking forward to the India book! Will you be able to include some of the photography in that? Some great photos from that trip.

Thanks again Alastair. I just got a good comment about the interview on the BTP Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bicycle-Touring-Pro/65806122535 Keep up the excellent work. I too would love to see a book of some kind about your India walk.

Really interesting to see this variety of multi-media content on your site. It must take you a lot of time and effort but thank you so much for sharing it . It is very motivational to me.
