Photo Friday – Church flags in Mexico

San-Cristobal-de-las-Casas-Church-richardmccaig

Richard McCaig sent in this photo from Mexico. He writes,

“The light was fantastic one late afternoon at a church in San Cristobal de las Casas in Mexico. The town is quite high up in the mountains and that provides wonderful clear air to bring out the colours. Warm air fluttered in the flags after what had been a very hot day – the feeling of well being was
overwhelming. The town itself lies on the boundary of Mayan and Mexican populations, and is a curious mixture of both. A great place.
