Expedition partner needed

Across Scotland by foot and packraft

I’m looking for someone to join me on an expedition.

If you fancy crossing Iceland by foot and packraft in June/July this year then have a quick look at this summary document.

    Too cold for me Al, I don’t understand you polar nutters! Looking to head South Pacific way…fingers crossed.

    I’d love to but no experience what so ever! Unless you think climbing Kilimanjaro n living in alps for a few years counts!
    I can use a camera take quite good shots but don’t own one you’d take there!
    Willing to take on a novice?

    Al, This trip looks amazing! Can you give me more info on these pack rafts, where you get them, how big/heavy they are, etc?

    curious, was actually just looking at a map of iceland earlier today, how heavy to reckon the packs would be and when is the deadline to apply for this funfest

    Are we taking about 30-35 kg a backpack. I wrote a short mail to u yesterday… Interested and been walking alot. Last year i walked 2200 km in 96 days through sweden. Worked as a white water guide summer 2004. Have some photos on facebook from an Iceland biketrip.

    I’m sure there must be a few of us that are in the same boat. If you know of more, maybe you could help us get together to organise a ‘novice’ trip?

    Al – I cycled around Iceland in 2007, amazing place. Would love to join you but I am swimming down the river severn.
