A Chat in the Pub

 

I was asked to speak at the Irish Adventure Film Festival in beautiful County Mayo. As I had never visited the west coast of Ireland, it was a perfect opportunity to tag on a little exploration, one or two pints of Guinness, and take time to catch up with Leon McCarron who I walked across the Empty Quarter with back in 2012. Here we chat about making a living from adventure, and the current state of play in the adventure world.

    Erika, one thing we can all always say about you is how honest you are with us. Whether it”s a fleeting mention in 1 snap about not feeling great or a chat about it, you show it but don”t dwell on it. Really enjoyed this post and loved the video you”ve done on it.
