A Circular Journey

The best microadventures include all the ingredients of great epics (voyaging into the unknown, hardship and surprises). And yet they are compressed down to work with whatever timeframe, kit, fitness and wilderness you happen to have nearby.

Here then is a tiny epic, flung together hastily in the station cafe before the train arrived to take me home.

Because life is busy, but adventure is important.

I travelled to the Isle of Wight with Red Funnel ferries. It’s a cheap, fast, regular service.
