Explore Gathering

September Gathering at the RGS. #explore

Thank you to everyone who came along to last night’s fantastic event at the RGS. There were well over 100 people there, sharing stories, advice and inspiration.

Thank you to Shane and Amy for hosting us so well.

Thank you to all those veterans of big trips who came to pass on their hard-earned wisdom, including:

and many, many more.

If you came along and you are about to leave on your own adventure soon, please do share your website in the comments section below for people to have a look at. (Also on Pinterest here)

If you enjoyed the night, you will also enjoy Explore in November.

Go out into the world, do mad things, then return to inspire the Class of 2013.

  2. Thanks Al, Amy and Shane for organising a great event!

And thanks to everybody else for being so up for it! There are some really inspiring journeys planned.

If anyone is looking for ideas/inspiration, I made two videos of adventures I had in Asia.

I hope they show how possible it is to just get out and do this stuff, and how rewarding it can be.. I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, I just quit my office job and went for it!

  4. Thanks Al, Shane & Amy,

It was a great night and fantastic to meet so many inspirational people.

Many thanks also for letting me say a few words about the Kukri Adventure Scholarship, it was no surprise that there was a lot of interest in the ¬£20,000 we have to give away to a budding adventurer(s)! We can’t to hear back about what people are planning.

More details about the KAS are on our website below.

    All the best

    Crispin
