Photo Friday has been one of the most popular additions to my site over the last year. It has been on pause recently as I showcased a fabulous selection of 400 second adventure talks. Now over the next few Fridays I’mll share a selection of my best, favourite and most interesting photographs. And then we’ll see where we go from there.
Do You Have a PhotoBlog where you post your images? If not – do you post your work on any other photosharing sites like Flickr? If so – feel free to post its URL/domain in the comments below so that we can visit and see your work!
Flickr is a superb online photography community. Somehow it manages to rank your photos according to their “interestingness”. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty good. So I’mm going to share what Flickr reckons are my 100 best efforts for the next 10 weeks. They have nothing whatsoever in common except that the Flickr computer likes them. A bit of light entertainment then to ease you into the weekend. Then we might go back to normal Photo Friday. Unless anyone can suggest a better idea?
Starting then with Number 100. Don’t get your hopes up though – they don’t get 100 times better than this one…! Click on any images you like in order to see similar ones I took at the same time.

Hey Al, the punk’s a classic. Looks like he just woke up.

Cheers. 😀
Those henna pictures are awesome. I am so used to seeing such a scene. It happens during Pakistani EID al Fitr and then again on EID al ADHA (November 16 – 18) this year. Pakistani women applying henna on these two occasions and wearing traditional colourful clothes will be focus of attention in many a gathering and of course men will be lusting LOL.
And that silkiness of flowing water 4th picture from top), is it on 5 seconds rule? But then how do you account for sharpness of the hiker observing the water flow?
Happy Eid Mubarak!
The silky water picture was a self-portrait. I just had to stand REALLY still!
I apologize. I read this message very late. Thanks for extending the EID Greetings back then 🙂
So for silky water effect, you had low shutter speed or large aperture # setting (small aperture value) – this vocabulary always confuses me?
