whilst it is lovely of you to run this tribute to my uncle, it would be nice if you could get his name right in the subject header!

I had the pleasure of hosting Ian for dinner at my home in Missoula, Montana, USA, Nov/Dec of 2006. He came to donate one of his bicycles to Missoula’s world cycling museum and stayed at my girlfriend’s home several days. Ian was nonplussed and quite humble about his first book, but I encouraged him to write a second book detailing all of his world travels. He finally agreed that he would do that and we agreed to “trade” for our stories. I gave him a DVD of my extreme snowmobiling exploits (Team Thunderstruck Films) and he was to send me a copy of his new book. Sadly, he never got to write it. See you on the other side Ian!
