Nights of Adventure – London and Edinburgh

I’mm pleased to announce the dates for this summer’s Night of Adventure events in London [tickets] and Edinburgh, held in support of Hope and Homes for Children.

As usual there will be eleven speakers at each event, sharing tales of adventures large and small. If you know of anyone who would be a good speaker please do let me know. Feel free to suggest yourself if you have recently done an interesting trip!

If you have not been along to a Night of Adventure before please watch the talk below (or any of the other ones here). The format is pretty fun – each speaker has just 20 slides and each one scrolls automatically after 20 seconds. It’s brisk, refreshing and exciting for the audience. It’s daunting and very difficult for the speakers!

Please pop the dates in your diary now:

  • NoA 7: Edinburgh: June 18th
  • NoA8: London: June 25th. Tickets here.
These are the final Night of Adventure events in these cities for a year, so please do make an effort to come along, or send along any friends who might enjoy it.

There is a rumour going around that Al Humphreys’ Ltd Company is making a tidy profit on these ‘charity’ evenings, when everyone else is unpaid. Maybe you should clear this up?

    • Absolutely! A couple more of these events and the red Ferrari will be mine…

Neither me nor any of the speakers at any of these events has ever been paid a penny for their time, effort and talent. 100% of the profits go to ‘Hope and Homes for Children’.
