Solstice Microadventure Challenge Begins Today!

The summer solstice microadventure challenge begins today!

If you go on a microadventure between now and June 30th you could win some great stuff from Trek BikeshowiesOsprey Packs and Mountain Equipment.

Hopefully these links will help make it easy for you to get out of town and try something different:

HERE’S THE PLAN:

Grab a friend, a colleague or go on your own.
Head for the countryside by bike, on foot, by train, canoe or however you like. Sleep out under the stars (bivvy, not tent!) and have fun.
Share your photos / videos / stories with us.
That’s it!
Rules are for the guidance of wise men and the obedience of fools. If you cannot do this on the night of the solstice (or if it’s really raining!) then don’t worry ‘“ you can enter for a week beforehand and a week afterwards. If you need some help planning a microadventure click here (remember all the links on the infographic are clickable too).
If you fancy raising £100 for charity through your microadventure you could go for the Summer of Adventure idea.
If you are looking for microadventure inspiration watch this video (also embedded below) ‘“ if you can have an adventure in Milton Keynes you can have an adventure anywhere!

PRIZES:

We’ve got some great stuff from Trek BikeshowiesOsprey Packs and Mountain Equipment to give away (details below). Booby prizes of books too.
Prizes for best entries (Male, female, kids) as well as a smattering of random prizes.

HERE’S HOW TO ENTER:

In keeping with the microadventure ethos, we have tried to remove as many barriers to entry as possible. This means that all you have to do is submit a photo, a story or a video about your microadventure. As long as you make sure we see your submission you can consider yourself in the running for a prize. Here are some ways you might like to enter, though you are welcome to be more imaginative:
Some prizes will be allocated at random, so submitting just one simple photograph might win you a prize. The top prizes will go to those who have the best microadventure and produce the best story, video or photographs.

Here’s what you can win:

1st Place Prizes

  • £600 Trek Bikes Voucher
  • howies Outback Soft Shell Jacket
  • Mountain Equipment Helium 400 Sleeping bag
