Talisker Storm Adventure

Are you up for a challenge this May?

UPDATE: Here is the adventure’s website.

I’mm delighted to be working with National Geographic and Talisker whisky in putting together a fantastic adventure challenge on the Isle of Skye.

Skye is beautiful, one of my favourite places in Britain.

And we are looking for three intrepid souls to take on an adventure challenge that will see you kayaking, road biking, trekking, sailing, mountain biking, rowing and climbing on a 5-day journey around the island.

It’s taking place between May 5th and 11th. Applications end soon!

You need to be fit, but not absurdly fit. We are looking for ‘ordinary’ people to take on this extraordinary challenge. If you’re even a little bit tempted, please fill in this questionnaire. It only takes a few minutes, and the reward could be a truly fabulous adventure.

Transport to and from Skye, accommodation, and equipment such as bikes, kayaks and climbing gear are all provided free of charge.

So give it a go! Apply now.

He’s testing us. Some of us are failing. Too needy, too impatient! We’re being very un-dude like (Big Lebowski reference). Let’s keep our cool and be ready when Al’s ready.

Hey Rachel, if you need some help with the technology and you’re in Skye, drop by Dunvegan and see if Danny MacAskill is home. He seems pretty handy with computers these days! Best of luck with your entry. You, me, Ò€œWisconsinÒ€ Steve and 1 other would be an awesome team.

I applied for the Huckberry Grant as well, which I discovered before this competition. I will still go on the adventure I submitted for that, just on my own dime. This Isle of Skye adventure is what I really want to win though πŸ™‚
