I had my staff review with the Headmaster at school today. I told him that I would have to leave at the end of the year as I was off to the South Pole. There – I’mve said it aloud now. I told a couple of other colleagues as well. Tell enough people and it will be so.
I went to a polar talk at the RGS tonight. I’mve been to masses of these sort of lectures, but tonight I was trying to envisage myself one day standing up and telling similar tales. I still can’t believe this is true.
