It’s almost 20 years since my first proper expedition.
(Crikey!)
My friend who I did that first trip with lives in Hong Kong now so I don’t see him often.
Rob is back in the UK for Christmas though, so we headed out for a night on a hill together to eat steak, drink whisky, and look back at some great adventures together.
It’s interesting to take time to notice how my approach and attitude to adventure has evolved over all that time.
Hi Alistair,
i have been on a couple of microadventures out of london (mainly from victoria station) but have as yet struggled to find some suitable woods for a decent spot where perhaps i could build a fire. do you have any suggestions about finding good spots. (i presume you cannot actually recommend me locations specifically?)
thanks
Ed
