Mountain Microadventure Video

I don’t think anyone should need to apologise for using ACDC as a soundtrack for a glorious summer burn-up on the mountain bikes. But just in case I do need to apologise… it was for Alex, my partner on this challenge, who loves that stuff. I tried to convert him to Springsteen but without success!

So here is the video for the 10th microadventure of the year. I hope you like it.

Very much enjoyed reading the previous post, a storyboard of sorts, before seeing the film. It added an extra element to it. It also showed that even if a picture is often better than a 1000 words sometimes, at other times, like when you were battling over the water, words are needed to explain the struggle.

  2. Can’t really think of anything better than cycling through the Cuillin while listening to AC/DC.

Whole trip looks a lot of fun (minus injury). Done Blaven but none of C Ridge, let alone the In Pin ahhhhh

  3. Wow! This looks like an amazing area. Having an approach to the climb by mtb and kayak makes it so much more interesting.

  5. I really loved this microadventure! Great job pushing yourself out on the rockface. Sometimes being humbled can be truly satisfying – especially when it is a mound of mountain that is dominating.
