The Trailwalker marathon

A friend of mine, Jonny, is getting married in a couple of months’ time. Perhaps as a last hurrah he has decided to attempt this year’s Trailwalker, a 100km race along the South Downs way organised by the Gurkha regiment. Only trouble is, his speedy fiancee broke the women’s team record last year with a time of 14 hours. So Jonny has to beat that…! The challenge has been laid down and I am delighted to be part of his team.
Apart from self-inflicted pain we are hoping to raise £2000 for Oxfam through this race. You can read more about our team, and even make a donation, here.
