I spoke at a conference in Barcelona recently. The client kindly put me up for the night in a very posh hotel. I enjoyed it very much!
But I extended my stay in Spain by a night because I wanted to show another way of having a memorable, refreshing break: a microadventure.

Thank You
Thank you to the many people who have kindly "bought me a coffee" for just £2.50 as encouragement to keep this blog going. "Yes, I too would like to donate a couple of pounds to this site..!"
Love it!
Especially, “I’m not ACTUALLY going to open it!” 😉
I hope you liked my white dressing gown chic look…
Of course! The towel took it to a whole new level of excellence.
Going on an adventure sounds wonderful, and then you realise the organisation involved. I LOVE that you have simplified it to a level that is accessable to EVERYONE. Age, gender, disability, none of it bars you from this sort of experience. Not everyone can climb everest, but we can all find our own adventure, and who knows, after several microadventures, everest might not be that unobtainable! More power to you and good luck!
Well done! Looks like a fun time.
Did you film every single shot in there or was a mix of your own footage and archive/other footage?
Scary to think about the ratio of time you spent making that vs. time of one person watching it, good though.
I filmed it all. And the edit takes even longer!
Well done, very professional look and enjoyed the video.
Where exactly did you climb?
near Montserrat.
Love it! Where is that exactly? I lived 2 years in Barca, and enjoyed the city a lot, but never experience a microadventure like this.
near Montserrat monastery.
Haha, great, I love the Xibeca beer, good one.
BTW, I guessed you have already realised your camera sensor is dirty… I saw it in the bothies video and now I see it in this one. Nothing big, just two dots at the right.
I know, I know… I really MUST clean that!
