Man on Wire

“It’s impossible, that’s sure. So let’s start working.”

I watched the wonderful film Man on Wire at the weekend. Apart from being an extraordinary story (the true tale of a French guy who decides to tightrope between the Twin Towers), it left a big impression on me about ambition.

How devoted are you to chasing your dream? What would you risk to save yourself from a grey life of depressing, predictable mediocrity and disappointment?

This film was a fantastic example of energy, passion, overcoming obstacles and the very best of lunatic French behaviour. If you want something, nothing is impossible…

“Why did you do this?”
“There is no why”
